1. How do I forward my e-mail to another e-mail address?

It is recommended that you use your club e-mail address (eg. info@curvesvegas.com) as your primary e-mail address rather than using a generic e-mail provider (eg. Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.)  Using your club e-mail address reinforces your club web site name and will help drive members to your web site.

To forward e-mail follow these steps:

  • Log into to Caorda Webmail with your username and password.
  • Click on Options from the top menu.
  • Click on Redirection
  • Place a check mark in the checkbox next to "Redirect mail to:"
  • Enter your desired e-mail address for where you would like your mail forwarded.
  • If you would like mail to remain in your Caorda Webmail account, place a checkmark in the box next to "Keep a copy in mailbox".

7. When I do a "Google Search" for my Curves location my web site does not come up?  How come?

Your first step is to ensure your web site is submitted to Google by visiting this site http://www.google.com/addurl Google updates its index on a regular basis but it will still take some time for you to see your site come up in the results.  Google search results are structured specifically around relevancy.  It is important that your page content matches the search terms that your clients might use to find you.  If your site is www.curveswinnipeg.com you will likely come up on the first page when people search for "Curves" "Winnipeg". For other search terms like "Gym" or "Workout" it is more complex but one of the most important factors is that your content matches the relevant terms that clients may use in their search. Caorda Content makes it easy for you to update your content on a regular basis.

You can also submit your web site URL for indexing to MSN here and Yahoo here

9. What is a Callout?

Callouts display below the left navigation area on your website. Using Edit Callouts in Caorda Content you can create a library of available Callouts to use on your Pages. A Callout can include images, text, and links, similar to a Page.  You need to be careful with image sizes when putting images into a Callout, as the Callout width can only support 135 pixel wide images.
